Step 1: Select a Service

If you know what service you need, you can skip straight through to the booking process. If not, you can use our online tool to find out.  For more information about what medicals are required, you can also visit the Canadian Government website.

Step 2: Book your Appointment

Our online booking process couldn’t be simpler. We will need some details from you during the booking process, so make sure you have your passport to hand. If you have already lodged your visa application then it is useful for us to have your IME number. If you have not, then we can carry out an upfront medical. Please choose a date and time slot to suit your need and pay for your appointment securely through SagePay.

SagePay will validate your card details to guarantee your booking.  Payments are always taken on the day of booking as this secures the appointment. Please note that if you do not attend the clinic without cancelling the appointment 48 hours in advance, a fee of £80 to £100 for administration costs will be charged.

You will be directed to complete an applicant detail and HIV test consent form. If for any reason you can’t make your booking online, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Step 3: Attend clinic

We will send you reminders to attend the clinic in advance. Should you have known significant medical problems, be under the care of a specialist or receiving or have treatment planned for you it will be useful to bring information regarding this with you.

Please remember to bring documents listed in your appointment confirmation email along with your details of any medication you are taking. We ask clients to set aside 2 hours for the appointment.

Step 4: Medical Report Submission

Your medical will be completed online by the panel doctor. Your X Ray will be reported by one of the panel approved radiologists and also submitted online. Blood results will be uploaded before review and final sign off by our panel physician. Should you have any abnormal findings at the time of your medical the panel doctor will inform you at the time.

The consulate request that all medicals are processed within 10 working days of the medical. In most cases this is submitted within 1 week of the medical.
